Going for a holiday during the weekdays is wayyyy better than the weekends - lesser crowds, faster services, time and space to enjoy stuff, and definitely more relaxing than to squeeze with people - albeit whacking off 3 full days of annual leave was a little heartbreaking at first.
We went to Harris Resort. Loved it! Clean, efficient, yummy food, smiley staff, good service! Oh, save for the mozzie bites. I had 4 on my feet from 1 dinner alone. So I do donate blood!
The room was tasteful and spacious. Long counter top, full length mirror, huge bed, nice sofa. Water pressure a tad low. The spa was awesome too! We had a 3-in-1 scrub (kinda felt like your skin was being literally peeled away; so painful!) + massage + bubble bath. After that we felt so clean and comfy!
The spa was a big plus point and the highlight of our trip. The pool was also big and well-equipped with lots of chairs for tanning or lounging in the shade. I like that they provided cold face towels and a box of fruits if you spend a long while at the pool.
Dear was sweet all the way too. Helped carry my bag, fed me a lot (..........), was pretty considerate and attentive. Heh heh.. Nice men always get bullied =P I acknowledge and appreciate that he gives in a lot to this spoilt brat of the gf.
We had a sugar-filled A&W lunch at Nagoya Mall. Free shuttle from Harris Resort! Nothing much to shop though. Dear bought a tee. Think I have been forcing him to try on too many clothes of late. Haha.. Oh yes, I like the fruit juice at Nagoya Mall!
We didn't want to squeeze on the first shuttle service back to the resort, so we waited with a family of 3. To our delight - a MPV came to pick us up! - so we travelled back in comfort. Yayy!
Quite excited for our next trip - to Genting! Which starts.. Tomorrow! Hee.. I dread the bus trip. Honestly, 7 hours in a bus is no easy task, at least not for us. Dear's quite fidgetive too.. And he says he usually can't fall asleep when on the bus. =( Regret opting for the night journey up. Should have taken the morning one so that he can at least be ensured of a night's rest at home. Oh well.. We shall entertain each other on the bus trip.
I know the couple tee is silly, but sweet all the same! And that's why we still wear it. Thankfully, this man adores the dino as much as I do.
