Mama

Is hospitalised.

Wanted to make a trip to the toilet - fell; fractured leg, back.

In the hospital, she was branded with a green tag which, according to mummy, means that she's at high risk for falls.

So again, a trip to the toilet. Nurse left her there (probably at Mama's own request), and voila! Fractured arm.

So who's right? The patient? Though she insisted, the nurse should never have left her alone? Because of the green wristlet? So the missy is wrong for letting a human come to more harm? For goodness' sake, this hospital with real life patients is no dummy practice.

Or the nurse? Because the patient requested to do things herself?

No one will be faulted, I guess. We need the nurses. Whether trainee/students or not. If they are young, inexperienced or passion-less, no choice - lack of healthcare providers.

If they are too tired from being overworked and still have to complete their duties.. Then how?

For the record, Mama is tiny. Think I'm almost twice her size/height. When I visited her last night, her whole right leg was bandaged, along with her (newly so) left arm.
